Truths and a question: A post by Sayuri

I should be working on my Japanese homework. I should be answering some questions for Elementary Health & P.E., I should be studying for my math test since I failed the last one with a 53%. But, before that, I have some sad realities, some enlightening truths, and a question to share with you lovely people.

The reality is, almost everyone thinks there is someone prettier/more handsome than they are.
The truth is, everyone is beautiful in some way, and while it sounds like a cliche, it's true that there is someone out there that thinks you're gorgeous.

We think, skinny is better than heavy
We think, curly hair is better than straight (or visa versa whichever you don't have)
We think, athletic types are "out of our league"
We  think, you have to do drugs, drink, or be sexually active to be popular.

Truth is....some people like skinny, some like ladies/gentlemen that have meat on their bones.
Truth is...curly, wavy, bald, or straight, it's hot no matter how you play it.
Truth is...it's all mental. No one is better than anyone else, and if we embrace our differences life will be one heck of a ride.
Truth is...you can do all of those things, but you have to live with yourself in the morning. Trust your instincts, and loving who you are is infectious. When you love you, so do others.

My question is: does everyone think in movies? Example: you're with a loved one and you see this happy moment as if you're looking back on it after you've lost them or they're looking back on it as if they've lost you? How do you live in the moment instead of being sad because you know that whether it be in one hour, one day, one month, one year, one century, the happiness is going to be replaced by emptiness, a hollow spot where the life of your loved one once dwelled? Everything ends. How does one live for the moment knowing something like that?

Leaving you with a heavy thought,
         ~Sayuri
